Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a Renewable Energy Service Engineer to join our team supporting social housing across London and the South East. You will service and repair renewable energy systems, conduct site assessments, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service, and a commitment to safety and industry standards. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
• The ability to work with a diverse customer base.
• Valid ACS & other gas qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points).
• Experience within Social Housing desirable but not essential.
• Level 2 or 3 plumbers interested in upskilling in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, and repair renewable energy systems (ASHP, GSHP, MVHR, EAHP & Solar).
• Service, inspect, and troubleshoot systems to ensure safety and performance.
• Conduct site assessments/audits to evaluate efficiency and propose improvements.
• Provide training and support to clients on operation and maintenance of systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on system enhancements.

Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Renewable Energy Service Engineer to join our dynamic team.

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, ASHP, GSHP, MVHR, EAHP & Solar systems
• This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
• Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients.
• Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance.

The successful candidate will have

• Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications - desirable, but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points)
• Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service
• The ability to work with a diverse customer base
