Job summary

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, is seeking a skilled renewable energy service engineer to oversee the service schedule of Solar PV systems and assist with maintenance of ASHP, GSHP, MVHR & EAHP across London and the South East.

The role demands a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to outstanding client service, with responsibilities including site assessments, fault diagnosis, and collaboration with engineers to drive system

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds/BPEC or equivalent electrical qualification (essential).
• Solar PV Installer Level 3 (desirable).
• 18th Edition (essential).
• Full valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience in social housing (desirable).
• Experience with heat pumps, district heating or hybrid systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems to ensure safety and performance.
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime for clients.
• Provide training and support to clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on system enhancements and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on system performance.

Role Overview:
Responsible for the service schedule of Solar PV systems with assistance for the maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems ASHP, GSHP, MVHR & EAHP.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients
• Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance

Skills & Experience

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, BPEC, or equivalent Electrical qualification including AM2 (essential)
• Solar PV Installer Qualification (Level 3) (desirable)
• 18th Edition qualification (essential)
• Full valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience within social housing (desirable)
• Experience with heat pumps, district heating, or hybrid renewable systems
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
