Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd invites a skilled Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from construction through completion. Based on UK sites including Milton Keynes, Fife, Durham, Leeds, Exeter and London, you will coordinate contractors, inspect works, review drawings and report progress.

Role requires PM experience in renewable energy or construction, ground-mounted solar farm expertise, and an engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Experience with setting out and surveying.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using CAD and surveying equipment.
• Ground-mounted solar farm experience - essential.
• Proven Project Management experience within renewable energy or construction.
• NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent - desirable.
• Experience delivering large-scale solar PV projects - desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of renewable energy projects from construction through to completion.
• Provide technical and engineering support across project sites.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Oversee contractors and subcontractors on site.
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and technical reviews.
• Review design drawings and ensure works meet approved specifications.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reports.
• Maintain accurate project, survey and as-built documentation.
• Support technical problem-solving and resolve issues on site.
• Liaise with design teams, clients and project stakeholders.
