Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Junior Project / Commissioning Engineer in Totnes, with a view to developing your career in a specialist renewable energy business. You will work to support project delivery and remote commissioning, communicating with clients and learning established systems.

The role offers training programmes, progression opportunities, a company share scheme and a pension, with the salary bracket of 30,000–35,000.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering knowledge or experience.
• Understanding of LV electrical systems.
• Engineering qualification from university or technical college would be advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Keen to learn and develop technically and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: Working alongside the Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of projects
• Commissioning: Supporting the remote commissioning of control systems and equipment
• Client Communication: Communicating with clients throughout projects and commissioning activities
• Technical Development: Learning established systems, processes and procedures and applying them across different projects
