Qualifications

• Some knowledge or experience of PLC programming.
• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Science or a similar technical discipline would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Keen to learn and develop technically.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• PLC Programming: Developing and modifying PLC programmes for standard projects.
• System Development: Learning existing programming methods and adapting code for different system configurations.
• Engineering Support: Working closely with the Senior PLC Engineer across a range of projects.
• Technical Development: Building knowledge of control systems, PLCs and LV electrical systems through structured training and practical experience.
