Pretoria Energy seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve electrical systems across its AD plants, ensuring safe and efficient operation in a hands-on, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Electrical breakdown repair, maintenance and installation.
• Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Experience with 3‑phase systems.
• Experience with safety circuits.
• Motor testing experience.
• 4‑20mA instrumentation and control signals.
• Strong IT and computer skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults across site systems and equipment.
• Performing electrical repairs, installations, inspections, and testing to a high standard.
• Modifying and maintaining control panels.
• Supporting plant breakdown investigations and ensuring equipment is returned to service quickly and safely.
• Working on motors, drives, instrumentation, control systems, and process equipment.
• Conducting fault-finding on 3‑phase electrical systems and safety circuits.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records using company logging systems.
• Supporting mechanical maintenance activities where required.
• Adhering to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
