Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse (Renal Windsor) for a 12-month maternity cover in the Windsor Dialysis Unit. The role requires proven renal haemodialysis experience and leadership potential, with Advance Renal Nursing qualification and ongoing leadership development.

You will be supported through the Senior Staff Nurse Development pathway, with opportunities for further education within the renal department and a commitment to high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Healthcare Professional (NMC).
• First Level degree (HEI Level 6) or equivalent, in undergraduate base profession.
• Desirable: Specialist post-graduate education.
• Desirable: Leadership training or qualification.
• Desirable: Independent/Supplementary Prescriber training or willingness to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff within the Windsor Renal Dialysis Unit.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and clinical governance.
• Provide training and education to patients and colleagues.
