Job summary

Pickfords is the UK's leading relocation moving and storage company with a rich history stretching back nearly 400 years. We are seeking a full-time Driver (3.5T, LGV/HGV, 7.5T) and Porter to join our removals team in the UK.

The role involves supporting domestic and commercial moves, including packing, loading and unloading vehicles, safely handling customers' possessions and delivering excellent service. Training and development are provided to progress to LGV/C licences and Driver CPC

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence essential.
• Experience in removals, moving, logistics or similar roles desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional.

Responsibilities

• Safely pack, load, transport and unload customers' possessions.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Work as part of a team and lead or support colleagues as required.
• Follow health & safety and working procedures.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks where applicable.
• Liaise with customers to ensure moves run smoothly.
• Support other operational duties as required.
