Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Project Engineer to support warehouse automation and facility engineering across distributed sites. The role involves design, build, and improvement of material handling systems and related processes.

You will assist in project charters, capital requests and cross-functional coordination, with hands-on use of engineering tools like AutoCAD and SIMIO. Remote UK work with substantial travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automation, CS or related field.
• 2+ years in enterprise systems, warehouse or supply chain automation or related area.
• Experience in warehouse operations, design or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and directors in design, build, and improvement of distribution facilities.
• Assist in development of project charters and capital expenditure requests.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external resources.
• Prepare engineering documentation and as-built drawings; support testing and commissioning.
• Use AutoCAD, SIMIO or similar tools for layout and simulation as needed.
