Job summary
Cencora is seeking a Project Director, Warehouse Automation & Engineering to lead the design and implementation of warehouse automation across multiple facilities. You will manage project charters, timelines, budgets and supplier contracts while coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver on complex automation initiatives.
The role requires 10+ years in warehouse operations with 5+ years in management, strong PM and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 75%.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics or related field.
- 5+ years in a management capacity leading capital projects.
- Strong project management, leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse automation design and project execution across facilities.
- Develop project charters, plans and budgets; manage timelines and capital equipment.
- Oversee supplier specs, negotiations and contract execution.
- Coordinate internal and external resources including consultants.
- Prepare progress reports and assist in capital expenditure planning.
- Ensure project completion from design to start‑up and training.
- Travel up to 75% as required.
