Job summary

Help for Heroes is seeking a Veterans Community Occupational Therapist to join the Services team and provide remote, community-based OT input across South England, ideally near Salisbury. The role supports veterans and their families to access clinical and functional support, promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Community Nurses, delivering person-centred care and contributing to education and outreach activities for

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting veterans or Armed Forces community is a plus.
• Empathy with veterans and their families is important.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based occupational therapy input to veterans, supporting physical health and daily functioning.
• Assess needs with veterans and families to identify person-centred solutions.
• Help navigate healthcare and support pathways to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Community Nurses and other professionals.
• Contribute to education, outreach and engagement activities.
