Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Vendor Management Supervisor to lead a national team of specialists in selecting, monitoring and assessing third-party vendors for mortgage operations, including law firms, lending origination and marketing partners. This remote role oversees compliance with SLAs, KPIs, industry regulations and investor guidelines.

You will train staff, review due diligence, manage risk, scorecards, certifications, onboarding and audits, and report to upper management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.
• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role with two+ direct reports.
• Experience negotiating and enforcing vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Strong reporting capabilities and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Vendor Management staff and set performance expectations.
• Monitor vendor compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Evaluate vendors’ adherence to SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead staff coaching and development opportunities.
• Maintain department policies, forms, reports, and training materials.
• Review vendor risk and due diligence documentation.
• Manage monthly vendor scorecards and incident reports.
• Oversee annual vendor re-certification and issue resolutions.
• Oversee onboarding and termination of vendors per policy.
• Address audit requests and escalate issues when needed.
• Escalate matters to upper management as appropriate.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
