Job summary

Wealth Wizards Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to join our remote-enabled engineering team in the UK. You will own full software lifecycles, from design to deployment, using Node.js, TypeScript, React and AWS serverless tech.

You will collaborate with product managers and designers in agile sprints to build customer journeys and services. You will contribute to code quality, design considerations, and non-functional attributes like security, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience with frontend and backend in Node.js/TypeScript/JavaScript/React.
• Developing back-end REST APIs with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of data structures and data-driven design.
• Experience with modern web frameworks/libraries (React Router, Express).
• Proficiency in prompt engineering to boost delivery and guard AI outputs.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub repositories.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering software for your team and collaborate with leadership and PM.
• Own features from design to production, including tests and deployment.
• Write clean, scalable code and ensure high test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and refine user stories into tasks.
• Review merge requests and mentor junior engineers.
