Job summary

Elevate, a leading global financial information and analytics business, is seeking a proactive Paralegal to support its procurement legal function. The role focuses on supplier contract discovery, due diligence, consents and contract transfers to support a busy M&A pipeline.

Working with internal counsel and external counterparties, you will identify, review, organise and progress supplier agreements, track milestones and help ensure timely execution within transaction deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing supplier agreements and maintaining contract records.
• Strong communication with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
• Ability to manage trackers, deadlines and multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions or procurement legal teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve and review supplier agreements and contact information across internal systems, repositories and business teams.
• Cross-reference supplier contracts against accounts payable records, purchase orders and ERP data to identify missing, expired or unindexed agreements.
• Build and maintain a centralised contract inventory and repository to support M&A due diligence and transaction planning.
• Coordinate counterparty outreach and manage the process for obtaining required contractual consents.
• Work with internal legal counsel and external counterparties to progress and finalise contract transfer documentation.
• Track documentation and execution workflows, ensuring agreements are signed within relevant transaction deadlines.
• Maintain a central tracker covering the status of contracts from initial review through to final execution.
• Provide regular progress updates, milestone reports and status summaries to project stakeholders.
• Escalate delays, risks and outstanding issues to project leadership as appropriate.
• Support transaction closing deliverables and ensure a smooth handover of completed work.
