Job summary

Artis Recruitment is seeking an experienced accountant to support management accounting, month-end close, and financial accounting tasks in a role that can be remote with the expectation of UK-based work hours.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with SME experience, strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas), and excellent communication skills. The position begins as a 12-month FTC and requires right-to-work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with SME background.
• Experience with management accounting and month-end close.
• Excellent communication via email and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Support management accounting and month-end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with VAT and statutory accounts.
• Carry out journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations; assist with audit prep.
