Job summary

Artis Recruitment is helping a client in Bristol recruit an accountant with experience in collaborating with colleagues in the Middle East. The role is a 12-month FTC based in the UK with remote options and requires the ability to start at 7:45am.

The successful candidate will cover management accounting and month-end, balance sheet work, VAT and statutory accounts, plus transactional tasks such as journal prep and audit preparation. Strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant preferred.
• Experience in small to medium sized companies.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and on email.
• Intermediate Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups and basic formulas.

Responsibilities

• Support management accounting and month-end processes.
• Handle balance sheet work, VAT and statutory accounts.
• Perform transactional tasks such as journal prep and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with audit preparation.
