Job summary

Contenta is seeking an experienced Full Stack TypeScript Developer to build unified cross-platform apps using React frontend, Node.js/Fastify backends, and Electron/React Native targets.

You will collaborate across product teams, apply vibe coding techniques, and contribute to scalable services with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, while ensuring code quality and secure, performant solutions. This remote role involves regular travel to Bristol.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Production experience with React and Node.js.
• Experience with Fastify or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience building desktop apps with Electron and mobile with React Native.
• Familiarity with XSL and XML data structures.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development.
• Knowledge of Git and modern workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using TypeScript across React, Node.js (Fastify), Electron, and React Native.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrate across web, desktop, and mobile.
• Apply vibe coding techniques to prototype and iterate features efficiently.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement solutions.
• Write clean, testable TypeScript code using shared codebases.
• Work with XML and XSL for data transformation and presentation.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
