Job summary

RWS seeks a seasoned Full Stack TypeScript Developer to build cross‑platform apps using a unified architecture. You’ll develop responsive frontends in React, REST/GraphQL APIs with Node.js and Fastify, and desktop/mobile apps via Electron and React Native. XML/XSL data transforms and vibe‑coding with AI tools are part of the stack.

Remote with travel to Bristol is supported. Contenta, part of RWS, focuses on aerospace and defense content management.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Production experience with React and Node.js.
• Experience with Fastify or similar Node.js frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable TypeScript applications across web, desktop, and mobile.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs across platforms.
• Apply vibe coding techniques to prototype and accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to implement solutions.
• Write clean, tested TypeScript code using a shared codebase.
• Work with XML and XSL for data transformation and presentation.
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement.
