Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Payroll Lead to manage TUPE In, TUPE Out and acquisition payroll activity, ensuring transfers are completed accurately and on time. You will provide day-to-day leadership to the TUPE & Acquisitions team and act as the first escalation point for complex payroll queries.

The role offers collaboration with HR, Finance and mobilisation teams and provides opportunities to redesign end‑to‑end processes, strengthen controls and improve the employee

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TUPE In/Out and acquisition payroll processes.
• Experience leading/coordinating colleagues.
• Experience delivering payroll process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead TUPE In, TUPE Out and acquisition payroll activity to ensure timely transfers.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the TUPE & Acquisitions team.
• Act as first escalation for complex payroll queries and data issues.
• Build relationships with HR, Finance, IT, mobilisation teams and stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement across end-to-end TUPE/acquisition processes.
