Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work remotely in the UK, with occasional visits to our Bournemouth HQ. The role offers a salary of £35,000 plus benefits including pension, life insurance, discounted travel, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach a team of 60-80 Travel Consultants, guiding their growth and success.
  • Assist TCs in finding suppliers, utilizing technology, and building confidence.
  • Identify business opportunities and teach TCs to do the same.
  • Train TCs in closing deals and managing their sales effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing to equip TCs with promotional tools.
  • Ensure excellent customer service from TCs.
  • Track team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven coaching and mentoring ability.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets within the travel industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience in sales management.
  • Familiarity with technology tools and social media.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles.
  • Customer service excellence.
  • Self-motivated with in-depth travel industry knowledge.
