Job summary

Yolk Recruitment seeks a commercially focused Technical Sales Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK within the water treatment sector. You will nurture and expand relationships with existing clients while collaborating with internal teams, including Marketing, to support growth.

The role requires at least 2 years in water treatment sales, with knowledge of RO, softening or wastewater processes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' proven sales or business development experience within the water treatment industry.
• Experience with water treatment technologies such as RO, water softening, filtration or ion exchange; or industrial wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities across the UK.
• Analyse market trends and contribute to sales and marketing strategies.
• Generate sales leads through proactive business development activity.
• Manage and follow up leads from website, existing customers and enquiries.
• Prepare quotations and costings using Microsoft Office; present quotations to clients and manage follow-up to order.
• Understand customer requirements and respond in line with commercial and technical specs.
• Maintain CRM records including quotation activity, follow-ups and reporting.
• Monitor sales metrics and report progress to senior management.
