Job summary

Leidos UK seeks a Project Manager to lead a multi-functional team in Farnborough with flexible home-working. You will drive delivery, manage risks and ensure milestones and KPIs are met under the guidance of the Senior Programme Manager.

You will bring a technical background and strong communication skills, capable of engaging with customers and colleagues. SC clearance or willingness to obtain clearance is required.

Qualifications

• SC clearance or willingness to undergo the clearance process.
• UK Citizenship and been a resident in the UK for minimum 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Coordinate with technical leads to understand and manage the complex technical solutions demanded by the client.
• Ability to manage technical discussions within the programme team.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills.
