Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Computational Pharmacokinetics & Systems Biology Expert to design graduate-level problems using real scientific workflows. You will create challenging tasks that require running simulations with tools like libRoadRunner and SBML-based libraries, and you will shape data-driven experiments for AI models.

You will test problems against state-of-the-art models, refine them through iterative feedback, and document problem setups, oracles, and validators.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level training in a relevant STEM field (MS, PhD, or equivalent research experience)
• Proven proficiency with at least one of the listed scientific software libraries (libRoadRunner, Tellurium, SBML tools)
• Strong Python skills for writing problem setups, oracle functions, and validators
• Ability to work independently and refine problem designs based on feedback
• Comfortable working in a Linux/terminal environment with remote compute sandboxes
• Available for at least 15-20 hours per week
