Job summary

Synthires is seeking a STEM Expert (MSc./PhD) for a remote, contractor role. You will contribute to AI training by solving advanced problems, reviewing AI outputs, and validating calculations using Python-based workflows.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in at least one STEM field, strong quantitative skills, and familiarity with tools like NumPy, SciPy, and Jupyter. Flexible ~15 hours/week with immediate onboarding.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in at least one STEM field such as chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, geoscience, environmental science, or robotics.
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
• Strong scientific, mathematical, problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using coding agents in technical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex scientific, mathematical, and technical problems within your area of expertise.
• Review AI-generated solutions for scientific accuracy.
• Identify incorrect assumptions and reasoning errors.
• Use Python or other languages for calculations, simulations, and validation.
• Provide rigorous, technically accurate feedback.
