Job summary

Opus 2 invites applications for a remote Speech-to-Text Editor. You will work on transcripts for court hearings, inquiries, arbitrations, and meetings, focusing on accuracy and timely delivery.

Training in the Opus 2 Editing Suite and glossary development will be provided, with opportunities to grow to leadership responsibilities. You will collaborate with a global client base, maintain high-quality transcripts under tight deadlines, and be supported by a structured development program to

Qualifications

• Previous transcription, editing or proofreading experience.
• Typing speed of 50 wpm or faster.
• High attention to detail and strong research skills.
• Extremely high standard of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Attend live court/arbitration hearings to build familiarity with legal terminology.
• Edit transcripts to improve accuracy, speed, and consistency.
• Receive comprehensive training in transcript production and editing.
• Progress to working within smaller editorial teams and lead duties.
