Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a meticulous Spanish transcript editor to refine Castilian Spanish recordings for AI training. This role is fully remote as an hourly contract in London, with flexible 10–40 hours per week.

You will review transcripts, correct errors, and ensure precise word-level timestamps align with audio to support cutting-edge speech models. The ideal candidate is a native or near-native Castilian Spanish speaker with excellent listening skills, strong written Spanish, and the discipline

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Castilian Spanish with Spain-specific pronunciation
• Excellent listening skills to distinguish words in varied audio conditions
• Detail-oriented with a methodical, patient approach to repetitive precision work
• Able to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules
• Strong written Spanish communication skills
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Responsibilities

• Listen to Castilian Spanish audio recordings and compare them against existing transcripts, correcting errors at the word level
• Fix misheard words, misspellings, punctuation errors, and formatting inconsistencies
• Verify and adjust word-level timestamps to ensure precise alignment with the audio
• Apply detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently across all tasks
• Flag unclear audio, overlapping speech, or segments that require additional review
• Maintain high accuracy and quality standards across large volumes of transcript data
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
