Job summary

Central Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a Specialist Caseworker to support children and young people across London. The role is remote with site visits, 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, for ~3 months with possible extension. A laptop and phone are provided; induction at Head Office.

Responsibilities include 1:1 support, safeguarding assessments, maintaining records, and producing professional reports for partners. DBS required; UK right to work essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex safeguarding cases involving children, young people and families.
• Experience building trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Experience with exploitation/violence risk contexts and safeguarding knowledge.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Awareness of trauma-informed practice and practitioner support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective 1:1 support to young people.
• Carry out risk and strengths-based needs assessments with safeguarding at the core.
• Maintain accurate case records in the management system.
• Produce professional reports for police, courts and social care.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to support pathways.
