Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in Cheshire East, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise within a supportive network.

You will manage a caseload of around 10-12 families, complete single assessments, attend court, and collaborate with professionals under safeguarding procedures. The role provides a comprehensive induction, flexible/remote working options, long term contracts, and a competitive hourly rate of £41.

Qualifications

• Must be Social Work England registered.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with professionals across services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safeguarding legislation.
• Work with children on the child protection register, looked after children and children in need.
• Attend court and contribute to Public Law Outline (PLO).
• Conduct single assessments and chair child protection meetings and conferences.
