Job summary

The Cyber Helpline is seeking a Safeguarding and Specialist Casework Lead on a 12-month maternity cover to manage safeguarding responses and provide specialist support for high‑risk service users. You will work remotely from the UK, supported by a safeguarding leadership structure and a dedicated team with cyber expertise.

In this role you will handle escalation pathways, coordinate referrals, support staff and volunteers, and contribute to training and improvements in safeguarding practice

Qualifications

• Candidates must be resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
• Appointment is subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including a DBS check.
• Experience supporting people affected by cybercrime and online harm is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day safeguarding response within the Safeguarding Response Team.
• Respond to safeguarding alerts, advise staff and volunteers, and coordinate referrals.
• Manage a caseload including young people 13–17 and adults with additional support needs.
• Contribute to safeguarding training, reporting and practice improvements.
