Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with the Sales team, educate customers, and ensure success with Grafana technology. This remote-first role supports a global team, with a requirement to be located in the UK.

You will articulate value, own technical engagements, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate across teams to improve documentation and enablement. This position offers global reach and growth opportunities in a dynamic, OSS-forward company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership; comfortable with diverse and complex assignments.
• First-class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and worldwide customers.
• Ability to articulate Grafana’s value proposition and the technical advantages of our products.
• Passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions.
• Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
• Must be located in the UK.
• Bonus: Experience with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Bonus: Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
• Collaborate to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create enablement material.
