Job summary

Codec Azure in the UK is seeking a senior Solution Architect with hands-on capability to shape solution strategy, manage scope and risk, and be the primary technical counterpart to clients. The role combines architecture leadership with delivery governance, enabling multi‑team delivery, and commercial collaboration on bids and roadmaps.

You will steer architecture across Power Platform and D365 CE, while hands-on spikes and POCs support critical paths.

Qualifications

10+ years in consulting/enterprise delivery with ownership of multi-workstream programmes.
Excellent facilitation and executive communication.
Knowledge of D365/Power Platform licensing impacts.
Dataverse modelling and integration/security patterns.
Environment strategy and release governance.

Responsibilities

Define target architectures on Power Platform/D365 CE; produce option papers with cost/benefit/licensing impacts and a pragmatic adoption path.
Own technical scope, estimates, and change control; run change control; set quality gates and NFRs.
Lead C-suite and business workshops; align competing technical priorities; communicate risk clearly.
Shape bids/SoWs, delivery plans, and commercials; support account growth with value cases and phased roadmaps.
Approve patterns for Azure integration (Functions, Logic Apps, API-M, Service Bus), identity and data governance.
Design environment topology, DLP, solution layering; enforce CI/CD standards and release cadence.
Partner with data teams on reporting; assess Copilot/AI opportunities and responsible-use guidelines.
Ensure team produce and adhere to admin guides, runbooks, support models, and operational KPIs.
Mentor Senior consultants; build standards; turn lessons learned into reusable assets.
