Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking multiple Solution Architects to support a public sector organisation delivering critical digital services. The role focuses on turning complex requirements into clear designs, API patterns, and practical development tasks while coordinating with engineers and external partners.

You will shape solutions across platforms, manage migrations, and ensure governance with attention to data, networking, and security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a strong software development background.
• Experience designing APIs, service integrations and cloud-based solutions.
• Ability to address data flows, network connectivity and security requirements within technical designs.
• Experience planning migrations and introducing changes to established platforms.
• Confidence presenting designs for technical assurance and responding to review feedback.
• Turn architectural decisions into practical tasks for engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills across technical teams, stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution designs, architecture diagrams and detailed technical specifications for priority initiatives.
• Design reusable APIs and integration patterns connecting internal platforms with external service providers.
• Investigate technical dependencies and resolve integration challenges across existing services.
• Translate designs into delivery-ready engineering tickets with clear requirements, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
• Guide solutions through architecture governance, addressing data, networking and security considerations.
• Provide technical direction during implementation, working closely with engineers, delivery leads and third-party suppliers.
