Job summary

ITW Construction – Offsite Europe is seeking a Software Developer to join our Software team. You will work on legacy and new C# desktop applications and new systems in an agile scrum environment.

The role focuses on delivering features, fixing bugs, and collaborating with QA, product teams, and developers. Home-based, UK-based travel may be required, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality software.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, mathematics, or a similar field.
• 1+ years’ experience as a software developer.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., C# .NET, Java, Python).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality features and bug fixes in legacy and new systems.
• Work with SQL Server, writing queries and stored procedures and making schema changes.
• Own development tasks end-to-end, from requirements gathering through delivery.
• Contribute to internal tools and APIs where appropriate.
• Contribute to automated and unit testing to ensure software quality is maintained.
• Participate actively in peer code reviews and the agile scrum process.
