Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will apply hands-on SOC experience to help shape how AI understands and responds to real-world security incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in SOC, incident response or security operations.
• Familiar with SIEM platforms, alert triage workflows and investigation methodologies.
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SOC scenarios, incidents, alerts and investigations to assess what happened and why.
• Classify severity, identify root causes and recommend response actions.
• Evaluate detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy and real-world alignment.
• Review AI-generated security outputs to ensure they reflect analyst workflows.
• Provide expert feedback to help AI systems reason through threats more accurately.
