Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Security & DLP Analyst for AI training on a fully remote hourly contract. You will analyze data security scenarios, classify data, and help validate DLP cases used to train AI models.

Requirements include 2+ years in data security or related fields, familiarity with GDPR/privacy concepts, and the ability to work independently on task-based assignments. Flexible 10–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Familiar with DLP tools and data classification frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.).
• Practical, real-world understanding of data risk in modern organizations.
• Ability to think critically about exposure paths, controls, and detection logic.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
• Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure paths, and policy violations.
• Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies.
• Generate, label, and validate data security cases used to train and evaluate AI models.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI reason correctly about sensitive information risk.
