City Science is seeking a senior Python developer who will lead design and implementation of production-grade packages for modelling and data processing. You will work with DESNZ and external collaborators, turning complex user needs into reliable software.

You will line-manage developers, mentor colleagues, and drive code quality through reviews, testing and documentation while delivering impact across decarbonisation projects.

• Strong Python developer at senior level with production experience.
• Ability to design robust, maintainable software and packages.
• Experience mentoring or leading developers in a multidisciplinary team.
