Job summary

CPI Card Group is seeking a talented Software Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to design and deliver scalable web and mobile solutions using Python and AWS in a remote-first environment.

You'll contribute across the full development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape the next generation of intelligent fintech solutions while aligning with PCI standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. or MS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python and Django.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python/AWS applications.
• Take ownership of features from design to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices.
• Review code and provide feedback for quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications and environments.
• Contribute to architecture discussions on scalability and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and support day-to-day tasks.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and development processes.
• Ensure development aligns with PCI standards and security requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
