Hunter Bond is seeking a talented Python Developer to join a rapidly scaling fintech firm operating at the intersection of investment technology and data innovation. The role offers fully remote work with flexible hours and a strong base salary plus a significant performance bonus.

You will develop Python-based applications for quantitative investment software, design scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to build next-generation fintech

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong experience in data engineering—ETL pipelines, data modelling, data processing frameworks.
Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
A passion for technology and an interest in financial markets or investment tech.
Degree in Computer Science or related field from a top 100 global university.
Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance Python-based applications for quantitative investment software.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data science, and engineering, to build next-generation fintech tools.
Contribute to system architecture, design decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
