Job summary

Mozilla Corporation is seeking a product-minded engineer or a highly technical product manager to own and evolve a shared foundation powering Firefox integrations. You will work across internal teams, outside AI tools, and web developers to shape strategy and deliver secure, reliable building blocks that enable browser automation and extensions.

Qualifications

• Must be a product-minded engineer or technically adept PM.
• Experience working with developer-facing platforms.
• Ability to define strategy in ambiguity and own technical contracts used by teams.
• Nice to have: knowledge of web standards, MCP, and browser automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the shared foundation and building blocks for external software and ensure reliability and security.
• Push the open standard forward (WebDriver BiDi) and create Firefox-specific advantages.
• Design safety controls for action approval, visibility of actions, and control transfer.
• Define strategy for major third-party AI assistants used by people.
• Serve internal teams and outside tools through a common shared layer.
