Job summary

Everfox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our London team. You will split time between hands-on work on cross-platform desktop and mobile apps and managing delivery across the end-point software layer of the Hardsec product line.

You will shape and deliver end-point software for secure browsing and VDI access, owning design, development and user experience. Role includes Linux/Windows desktop and Android/iOS work, with emphasis on quality and enterprise integration.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or scientific subject.
• Experience developing complex software in modern C++ for systems software and desktop or mobile applications.
• Design and architecture experience; ability to solve systems-level problems with multiple interactions and planning for failure.
• Strong grasp of concurrency, IPC, networking, security, performance and algorithms.
• Willingness to take on delivery responsibility without a formal delivery management background.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain features for cross-platform desktop and mobile applications, focusing on reliability and usability.
• Write code primarily in modern C++, and work across other languages as needed.
• Lead scoping, design and estimating of new software and complex integration tasks; build prototypes to de-risk hard choices.
• Use AI tooling to improve development speed and quality.
