Job summary

Katalyze Data (formerly Amadeus Software) is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, deploy and manage data analytics platforms for regulated environments. You will work with Linux, containers and cloud services, ensuring secure connectivity and robust API integrations across client environments.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, DevOps and Cloud teams to deliver reliable deployments, monitor performance and document configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating modern analytics platforms.
• Proven track record with Linux, containers and cloud deployments.
• Strong networking and security fundamentals.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with client teams.
• Proficient scripting in Python or Bash and IaC with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continually improve deployment of analytics platforms on cloud infra.
• Hands-on work with Linux, containers, and cloud services to support client environments.
• Lead setup and management of secure connectivity for platform components.
• Enable and configure API integrations with other systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, DevOps, and Cloud teams to ensure smooth deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot platform performance and propose improvements.
• Document configurations and operational procedures.
• Participate in patching, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Follow security best practices including access control and authentication.
• Contribute to internal SaaS initiatives and cloud provisioning.
• Monitor and adapt to SAS Viya / Posit / Databricks developments affecting deployments.
