Job summary

IP House seeks a globally oriented Counsel, IP Litigation & Enforcement to advise investigations and enforcement teams worldwide. You will work with clients, outside counsel, and authorities to move matters forward on tight deadlines.

This role requires a UK/US qualified lawyer with 3–5 PQE, capable of translating complex concepts into clear guidance for non-lawyers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• UK/US/EU qualified lawyer with solid PQE.
• 3–5 years PQE in private practice, in-house, or government.
• Based in UK or US with right to work.
• Ability to manage high volumes across time zones.
• Translate complex legal concepts into plain language for non-lawyers.
• Self-starter with discretion handling privileged material.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day legal resource for IP investigation and enforcement teams.
• Establish standards, decision criteria, and escalation thresholds across jurisdictions.
• Advise on evidence collection, documentation, and chain-of-custody for various forums.
• Coordinate with local counsel to bridge gaps and advise COO on risk and timelines.
• Track escalated matters through disposition, budget, and client-facing updates.
• Prepare referral packages for law enforcement and prosecuting authorities.
• Act as a legal liaison with law enforcement, regulators, and platform partners.
