Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking an experienced Architect - Systems or Software to design and integrate the core of our Geospatial and satellite data products across the full lifecycle.

You will work on Government and MOD projects focusing on ISR solutions, joining a multi functional Agile team of testers, developers, lead engineers, project managers and product owners to deliver next‑generation secure geospatial software.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and customer goals and high-level requirements into robust architecture for Geospatial solutions, balancing performance, security, reliability, and compliance
• Establish end-to-end traceability from requirements to solution design through structured documentation and design rationale, leveraging MBSE (SysML/UML) to model complex system architectures.
• Drive architectural vision by proactively engaging with key stakeholders to gather pertinent information.
• Consider efficiency, how different components can be reused and the system can evolve to meet future demands.
