Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a senior Cyber Security Assurance Leader to define and own assurance strategy across defence and public sector programmes. You will influence governance, manage accreditation challenges and guide organisations through complex risk decisions, reporting to senior leadership and governance boards.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead security assurance strategy across programmes or portfolios.
• Act as senior authority on cyber risk and accreditation.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and governance boards.
• Lead risk acceptance and assurance decision-making.
• Oversee application of ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and CAF.
• Ensure consistency of assurance across multiple programmes.
