Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Senior Construction Project Manager to join a fully remote team. You will lead multiple projects end-to-end, from initiation to closeout, coordinating with distributed clients and stakeholders to deliver on time, within scope and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive construction PM experience, expertise in contracts and remote collaboration tools, and a strong leadership and communication skillset to guide

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of multiple construction projects from inception to closeout.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to manage diverse construction projects from initiation to completion, regardless of geographical location. You will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, risk assessment, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a virtual environment, possesses exceptional communication and leadership skills, and has a comprehensive understanding of all phases of the construction lifecycle. You will work closely with distributed teams, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project success, contributing to innovative construction solutions across various regions, while based anywhere in Gauteng or beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of multiple construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to closeout.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, managing remotely.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to proactively address potential issues.
• Oversee project finances, including cost control, budget forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors through effective virtual communication.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant construction regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks across all projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects entirely remotely using collaboration tools and communication platforms.
