Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and create education plans tailored to each assigned provider. You will report to the Manager, Coding Education.

You will lead the risk adjustment strategy for provider groups, analyze data, and deliver educational sessions focusing on quality of care, documentation, and coding improvements. Collaboration with relationship owners and QCS is essential as is developing webinars and compliant

Qualifications

Requires AAPC CPC certification and 3+ years in risk adjustment education.
3+ years of medical record review knowledge.
Knowledge of Medicare Risk Adjustment and coding guidelines (ICD-9/ICD-10).
Experience analyzing data to guide process improvements; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Create and execute risk adjustment strategy for provider groups.
Analyze data and provide educational sessions with providers on quality of care, documentation and coding improvements.
Collaborate with relationship owners and QCS (Quality and Cost Strategy).
Monitor and develop strategy with Network Performance team and leader.
Tailor provider group webinars and discussions on MRA topics.
Create compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to group strategy.
