Job Description

Location: UK Nationwide – Remote working

Salary: From £65k + Fantastic benefits

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week

Work Schedule: 3 days working with clients and 2 days performing MHST duties (no clinical diary)

About the Role

You will support referrals from our UK insurance business, providing 1-2-1 clinical practice to clients with varying mental health conditions, or work directly with a corporate client to support mental health awareness and referrals for employees. Working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact, delivering high-quality mental wellbeing services via MS Teams. The role involves clinical delivery and senior responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ensure thorough assessments to determine appropriate care pathways.
  • Deliver services via telephone or video consultations based on client preference.
  • Adhere to case management processes and collaborate with the clinical team.
  • Work within sessional limits based on client insurance allowances.
  • Signpost or refer clients as needed.
  • Offer wellbeing support, coaching, and assessments as required.
  • Conduct group psychoeducation and mental health awareness activities remotely.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Attend supervision and team meetings to support clinical practice.
  • Identify improvements to client and employee experiences.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • HCPC registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
  • Adult clinical experience as a Chartered Psychologist is essential.
  • Children’s clinical experience is desirable.
  • Minimum of 1 year post-qualification clinical experience.
