Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Security Consultant (CHECK Team) to join a client on a short-term contract. Remote work available, paying £580 per day Inside IR35 (Umbrella). You will conduct penetration testing across infrastructure, networks and applications and contribute to risk assessments.

You will produce clear reports and remediation recommendations, communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and help strengthen the client's security posture in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering penetration testing engagements.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, network and application security.
• Experience conducting security assessments within enterprise environments.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience producing high-quality security testing reports.
• Familiarity with common security frameworks and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across infrastructure, networks and applications.
• Identify, analyse and document security vulnerabilities.
• Produce clear technical reports and remediation recommendations.
• Work closely with technical and project teams to improve security posture.
• Support risk assessments and security assurance activities.
• Ensure testing activities align with industry standards and best practices.
