Job summary

Citation Cyber is seeking a Security Consultant to join its penetration testing team in a hybrid UK role. You will deliver security assessments across client environments, producing thorough reports and presenting remediation recommendations to clients.

Ideal candidates will have consultancy or equivalent experience in infrastructure and web app pentesting, strong reporting skills, and familiarity with Windows, Linux, AD, and cloud security testing (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• Commercial penetration testing experience in a consultancy or similar
• Strong technical reporting skills
• Experience in infrastructure and web app penetration testing
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS security testing
• Experience using standard penetration testing tools and methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for continuous learning and technical development

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of technical security assessments across client environments
• Identify vulnerabilities and help strengthen client cyber resilience
• Produce clear, high-quality technical reports
• Present findings and remediation advice to clients
• Support vulnerability validation and re-testing
• Contribute to internal tooling, research and knowledge sharing
