You'll work in an Agile environment, collaborate with product and QA teams, and help deliver enterprise‑grade solutions for distributed systems. Remote-friendly role based in the UK with modern tooling and security practices.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Scala and Play Framework.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with automated tests (unit/integration).
• Familiarity with Agile teams and ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Scala and Play Framework.
• Implement RESTful endpoints and handle authentication/authorization flows.
• Write idiomatic Scala and apply functional programming concepts.
• Build and maintain automated tests and support test automation.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) and participate in code reviews.
